Magic Kingdom has always been my favourite park, and I have one favourite dietary staple when I visit:
My family always eats ice cream sundaes for dinner while watching the fireworks. We’ve been doing it for as long as I can remember.
Still, I had to give Dole Whip a try. People are always talking about it, blogging about it, making it sound delicious, so I wanted to find out for myself if it’s as good as people say.
This is a pineapple Dole Whip float from Aloha Isle in Adventureland. Since I was trying it for the first time, I figured I should go all out and get the float. The Dole Whip soft serve is pineapple flavoured ice cream, which in the float is on top of pineapple juice. It was delicious, honestly, but too much food. I was eating it as lunch and was too full to finish it. Next time I’ll just opt for the ice cream, which is the really good part, or split the float with someone else.
I probably had to wait in line 20 minutes in the hot sun for it, but the Dole Whip was definitely worth it, and especially refreshing on a hot day.
And now I’ve crossed something off my bucket list! Simple and wonderful.
